THANK YOU ALL

A happy hello to all my visitors:)

I would just like to thank every visitor who takes the time to leave such uplifting comments.

I hope to upload another card soon, at the moment I am pretty used up by work.

Big hugs and blessings to you all

Orange and green

I have tried to get this ready in time to post into the orange and green contest, but I think I’m too late:( But still, here it is. Orange and green tilda on an easel card. Not much to say about it. I used cheap glitter gel pens from the $ shop for everything but the skin. For the skin I used the 2 copic that I own. All the rest is what I have in/on shelves and boxes;)

The colour purple

Apart from the skin, for which I used either Tombot or Copic, I can’t remember, I coloured this innocent little girl with my colouring pencils and blended/shaded with odourless solvent. I read about gumsol but can not get it where I live. Odourless solvent is great for blending and shading normal good colouring pencils. My pencils are from Faber Castel. I have the red student ones and the more professional ones. I still colour on any paper that I have and most of it is fine. I did buy some special copic paper to day though and 2 more copic markers. They are ever so expensive here. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this little card and you are welcome to criticise my work as I can only learn by it.

It’s raining again

Hello Crafters

It’s supposed to be summer here down under New Zealand but the weather is everything but summery. To this comes that I have the sniffles and everything that goes with it, so feeling pretty bad.

I thought it was about time to post my cards. I can’t really tell you what I’ve used as my stuff hasn’t got names. I colour and shade with all sorts of pens and pencils, cheap ones like the ones from the $ shops, and not so cheap ones like Copic and Tombot markers. Some of my stamps are completely coloured with cheap glitter gel pens, others with water pencils. As you can see, I am still learning and finding out what medium I like best for colouring. And what paper to use.
I haven’t got German sentiments, so I have to write them by hand and my handwriting is not a very artistic one:)
